Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes teaches Studio Voice, Voice Classes and Vocal Pedagogy at Pacific Union College. She recent completed her SongShine studies and is now a certified instructor for the SongShine Foundation. SongShine techniques bring new life to voices compromised by Parkinson's' Disease, stroke, other neurological disorders, and aging voices. (SongShine, an Arts in Healthcare Program, is based on the science of neuroplasticity of the brain and built on the foundation of breath.)
Prior to Dr. Wilkes’ retirement in 2017 from her full-time position at Napa Valley College, she taught voice classes, directed the Chorales, administered the college's Applied Music program, and conducted and musically directed the musical productions including a cameo performance of conducting Sister Act in spring of 2018. During her 20+ years as at NVC, she led numerous international performance tours for the NVC Singers including tours to Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Scotland, England, Canada, Italy, Ireland and Japan. Under her tutelage, the singers also performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
